Claudia Lewis Therapy Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment
Claudia Lewis Therapy believes healing is for everyone. That means our website—and our virtual space—shouldn’t gatekeep anyone, no matter their ability. We’re actively working to make our online presence inclusive, user‑friendly, and barrier‑free.

Standards We Aim to Meet
We strive to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards (those are the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines from W3C—basically the gold standard for digital accessibility) and align with ADA guidelines. This isn’t just lip service; it’s our rule of thumb.

What We’ve Done So Far

  • Built logical navigation that plays nice with assistive tech like screen readers—think proper heading use, alt‑text on images, keyboard‑friendly menus (a standard move for therapist websites that care)

  • Used accessible text formats and clear, concise language—because jargon hurts users with cognitive or language processing differences

  • We’re not perfect, but we’re actively improving. If you notice an issue—broken alt‑text, inaccessible PDFs, you name it—let us know.

Limitations We're Working On
Some parts of our site (like PDFs or embedded forms) may not be fully accessible right now. We’re on it—but if access is an issue, you can get in touch directly. We’ll make sure you get the info via a format that works for you.

Need Help? Want to Report an Issue?
Hit us up. Use the Contact page or email claudialewistherapy@gmail.com (easy‑to‑type and reliable). Drop a line, describe the problem, and we’ll fix it—or provide what you need another way, ASAP.
